Supporting Local Charities, too!
Supporting our local community doesn’t mean that we only support businesses. It’s important to support local charities and non-profit organizations as well because they are an incredibly important part of our city.
We are thrilled to be involved in the 2015 Amazing Spaces Home Renovation and Design Tour. The House Trade Built will be one of ten homes on the tour. Passports to tour the homes are available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going to a charity! Additionally, companies and businesses involved in the renovation or construction of the homes have the opportunity to sponsor a home with those proceeds going to the selected charity as well. Tradebank Regina will be a major sponsor of the House Trade Built and will be donating $1500 to the charity.
The charity selected as this year’s benefactor of the Amazing Spaces Tour is The Casey Foundation. The Casey Foundation is an independent non-profit organization that was created in 2005 by Alexis Cuthbert, a then single mother of a child with autism. All monies donated to The Casey Foundation are used to benefit families living with autism in Saskatchewan and assist them with costs incurred to further their child’s development. The Casey Foundation relies on the support of individuals, organizations and companies to raise funds for continuing the important work of supporting children with autism.
Details will be announced shortly on how you can purchase a passport to tour the homes. We hope to see you at the grand opening of the House Trade Built on May 9th!
