Amazing Spaces

     May 12, 2014 0 Comments

Dan and I had the opportunity to go through the Amazing Spaces tour on Saturday. If you haven’t heard of this tour, be sure to go in 2015.

Amazing Spaces is a non-profit organization that combines people’s interest to view newly remodeled or new homes and giving back to a charity at the same time. The proceeds from ticket sales as well as sponsorships go towards a charity every year. Each charity receives a two-year term.¬† This year, all proceeds went to The¬†Casey Foundation, which is a foundation in support of children with autism.

We toured through about eight houses. We had to really focus on the ones we wanted to see because we got a late start to our day and only had so much time before the event closed. We focused on the new homes to see the newest trends and layouts. We saw some truly jaw-dropping features, including secret doors and stunning kitchens. If we finish the House Trade Built on schedule, you might see us in the tour next year!

I wish I could share pictures with you, but cameras weren’t allowed.

Did you go through the tour? Which home was your favourite? Would you want a secret door in your house? What’s your favourite kitchen cabinet colour?
