Drywall boarding is nearly complete and the house looks great. It’s funny what drywall can do to a room when you can’t see through the walls into the next room. Some spaces feel bigger, whereas others, like the kid’s bathroom, feel smaller. Once we get some paint on the walls and fixtures in I’m sure everything will make sense again.
The master bedroom looks great! I love how the windows from Humphrey Window and Door Store turned out. The coffered ceiling is going to be spectacular. KDI Drywall has a plan for that ceiling with some large mouldings and crown. I’ve left that space up to him to get creative with, so I’m looking forward to seeing the final results.
The bonus room is also going to be a beautiful space! That giant window brings in so much natural light.
The main floor is also starting to take shape. The fireplace from Wheatland Fireplace is framed in now. One day it will have a stone product on the front along with a mantle and built in bookshelves on either side.
The house is certainly coming along! Thanks again to KDI Drywall for having the house boarded so quickly. We’re ready for the next step: mudding and taping.
