Basement Framer

black pearl

Kyle Colibaba has been in the construction and carpentry business for five+ years now with many years prior experience in carpentry. His company, Black Pearl Construction, is devoted to providing the highest quality of service with the most reasonable time frames.

Black Pearl was founded in 2014 after seeing a void in what the home builders offer. A lot of times, the builders don’t offer certain products or details and if they did, the costs were astronomical. That’s where we come in offering a much more affordable price without compromising quality.

Services offered are as listed but not limited to: hardwood floors, laminate floors, cork floors, window and door installation, base and case trim work, framing, basement framing, decks wood and composite, hand railings wood and aluminum. And much, much, more

Kyle Colibaba has five years in the new home construction and 13 years in carpentry, with everything from furniture building to cabinets.  He is also a third year apprentice.

Black Pearl Construction is locally owned and operated in Regina and serves the area and its residents as well as surrounding areas.

Why is supporting local business important to you?

I believe in supporting and using local business for my own piece of mind and as a safe guard. As an employee of builders in the past, I have seen trades come and go with many of them from out of province. They never have the same quality of work and if anything goes wrong they are no were to be found. Now, as a business owner, I also support local trades because of our relationships and knowing they will return the favour of being loyal and supportive.
What attracted you to the House Trade Built project?

Thinking outside of the box. It’s also a new project with increased exposure to new contacts.
