Superior FD Coatings

The day has arrived! Superior FD Coatings was on site today to beautify the garage.

Dan is pretty excited to have a finished garage. He decided to go with not only the floor coating, but some pretty cool hanging shelving as well. I’m more than okay with it because that means (fingers crossed) that the garage will stay organized.

The crew started early in the morning and will be wrapping it up by the end of the day! A one-day installation is pretty great. I caught a few pictures of the progress, but for the most part, stayed out of their way since they were working so quickly.

These black wall racks are installed to hold the floating cabinetry and adjustable hooks. As you can see in the picture above, the floor looks pretty great!

colour choice

We went with a neat mix of grey, white and black flakes called Tuxedo. I like the speckled look because it will hide dirt and it’s interesting. As soon as you walk into the garage, you notice the great looking floor!

The nice thing about the Superior FD coating is that it’s not only nice to look at, but serves an important purpose as well. The coating provides a tough and durable finish to concrete surfaces to prevent scaling and deterioration. From the website, I learned that the coating is a patented world-class polyaspartic technology that is 4x more abrasive and wear resistant than epoxies.

For more information about Superior FD Coatings, be sure to check out their website. You can also see the other colour options available! I’ll be back with an update on how the floor cleans and whatnot seeing as the house is still under construction and I’m sure it won’t take too long before those cabinets are full of tools!

finished

Thanks again Superior FD Coatings for doing such a great job!
